I said I was finished, but I lied.

We ventured to our local state park to take bluebonnet pics. I know this is bad, but I don't know that we've taken bluebonnet pictures since Roman was 2. Maybe? For diehards, this is an annual pilgrimage. But, hey, we're not diehards.


I love pictures of people walking away. Yeah, pretty sure that's something Freud would have to comment on. Glad he's dead and not reading my blog.

Thinking of my kids ACTUALLY walking away from me gets me all teary eyed. At this point though, I know they have no other way home. Yep, pretty sure they'll pile in the van with us at the end of it all. Whew. I've got at least another decade of this ignorant bliss!

I laughed OUTLOUD at this. What in the world? There were more too, but not any others with a paw swipe? What?! I guess being out in nature brings out the animal in these animals.

"Here Mama, these are for you." Seriously. Can I keep him forever?

On a technical note, does anyone know how to make the silly square frames go away, so the cool picnik rounded edges look as cool as they really are?
