A song in my heart

I was looking up songs about fire trucks tonight and, well, it just spun out of control. Fire trucks made me think of this....

Don't ask. My stream of consciousness can be weird sometimes. :) Can you believe that Ernie has NEVER heard this?! What? The safety dance? What WERE you listening to?

He's going on and on about how cheesy it is. Uh, yeah, it was the 80's. He informs me that he only listened to rap and heavy metal. So, I look up this...

and he's never heard this either!!!! WHAT? Seriously, who was in your walkman?? So, he tells me this....

Yeah, you're right. THAT'S not cheesy at all. I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to listen to this group. I always thought it was for the band's name, but now I know it was for the protection of my eyes. Seriously, too many grown men in tight, tight pants with big, big hair.

Turns out that when I was listening to The Police and all the one hit wonders, he was listening to things like the Humpty Dance and Beastie Boys' Brass Monkey.

Then I thought about this song...

Well, you may or may not know, Youtube is an abyss easily fallen in to. What started as productive has ended up in a long walk down musical lane. So, I just looked at the clock and it makes me think of this song....

Sweet Dreams!

GIRL you got some GREAT songs on this hear post. I personally love ALL songs you posted. Even the Beastie Boys, Brass Monkey! hahaha, but then again, I grew up in the 80's. Sounds like we need to help Eddie, get in touch with the true music of the 80's... SHEESH! He needs some serious help. Just let me know when and I will bring ALL my CD's over and we can strap him to a chair and make him listen to them. :D
JUST KIDDING!! But he needs serious help though! :D
