Tummy Yummies

Thursdays in June we have a camp focused on learning about food and making things yummy for our tummies.

The first week, before I grew a brain and started bringing my camera, we made parfaits. And, boy did the kids LOVE those. Bananas, vanilla yogurt, strawberries, and granola and the friends couldn't stop talking about them!

Last week we made chocolate pies. You shoulda heard the squeals. HUUUUUGGGGEE hit!

Ingredients:
Instant Chocolate Pudding
Milk
Miniature Graham Cracker Crusts--they come in pkgs of 6
Whipped topping in the spray can
Sprinkles, multi-colored, of course!

The kids TOTALLY made these by themselves. This is what we did.

Step 1: I put 2 T of the pudding mix in a small sealable container (Glad makes a 1/2 cup one that worked perfect...they come in a pkg of 8).

Step 2: Add 1/3 cup milk and let the kids shake, shake, shake, shake!

Step 3: After 5 minutes or so, they will have actually made pudding. At this point, you can either proceed to the next step or put them in the refrigerator to set a little more. Your choice.

Step 4: Let the kids spray their whipped stuff on top.

Step 5: Top with sprinkles.

Step 6: EAT!!
Check out these yummy creations!

Yup, they're twins. I thought the way they were sitting was so twin-ish. :)

Can we say excitement?!

Okay, take the picture, so I can get back to eating!

She's down to business!

When I said they could like their bowls and lids...they wasted NO time!!

Must I say more?
